Dr Cugini is a practicing OB/GYN in Cape Girardeau, MO. She currently works as a full time clinician for Southeast Health and is the acting Department Chair for Women’s Health. She has a special interest in women’s health across the ages and recently completed a Masters Certificate in Human Sexuality. She is the Regional Dean for AT Stills School of Osteopathic Medicine and is the Medical Director for East Missouri Action Agency and Cardinal Biologics. Dr. Cugini is also the Executive Director of The BeTween Initiative, a local 501c3 that supports the wellness and education of regional adolescent girls. She is a member of the local Zonta Chapter where she serves as the Medical Director for the Haitian Medical Missions and she is the secretary and long time member of the Cape Girardeau Area Medical Society. 

Dr Cugini grew up in Missouri, only leaving the tristate area for her medical education. Following completion of residency in New Jersey, she moved to Cape Girardeau where she and her husband (also a physician) and their two children have resided since.
